Unlike previous editions, this interim release focuses exclusively on survey data, providing a more immediate and data-driven perspective ahead of the full Risk in Focus 2026/27 report.
The enhanced survey design supports deeper insight into risk severity, the maturity of organisational responses and the extent and proportionality of internal audit assurance coverage.
The findings are intended to help internal auditors and audit committees inform risk assessment, audit planning and assurance priorities for the year ahead.
