The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG) has released three significant ESRS Implementation Guidance documents to support organisations in effectively implementing the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). These documents illustrate reporting requirements and include FAQs, aiding organisations and stakeholders in ESRS implementation.
The finalised documents reflect comprehensive public feedback and focus on the most challenging aspects of ESRS implementation:
- EFRAG IG 1: Materiality Assessment
- EFRAG IG 2: Value Chain
- EFRAG IG 3: ESRS Datapoints
While these guidance documents are non-authoritative, they provide essential support for implementing ESRS, promoting transparency, and consistency in sustainability reporting.
