Graduated from HEC Paris School of Management and from the Stanford Executive Program. After six years spent as Audit Manager for Ernst & Young in Paris and London, specializing in audit and consulting in the banking and financial sector, he joined in 1993 Worms & Cie and its banking, private banking and asset management subsidiaries. He was then appointed Deputy General Manager for Banque AGF (1997-2003), followed by Head of the internal audit function for AGF Group (2003-2005). In 2005, he became Head of Group Audit of Allianz SE in Munich for the first time, reporting to Michael Diekmann, former Allianz Group’s CEO. He moved back to Paris as he was appointed Member of the Allianz France Executive Board of Management and Head of Central Functions and Group Activities (2010-2014). In 2015, Hervé returned to Munich in order to resume responsibilities as Head of Group Audit of Allianz SE to support Oliver Baete, Allianz Group’s new CEO. Since July 2017 Hervé chairs the Insurance Committee of the ECIIA (European Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditing).
After Mathematics degrees at ENS Lyon and Karlsruhe University, followed by a PHD in Asymptotic Statistic, Nora Gürtler started working as an analyst at Tillinghast-Towers Perrin in Cologne. She joined Generali Deutschland Holding AG in 2003 as a Senior Analyst and Technical Controller P&C, to later become Head of Actuarial Valuations Life / Health. Between 2011 and 2016 she held various positions within Generali Deutschland Holding, among which Head of Enterprise Risk Management and of Generali Germany’s Solvency II project as well as the Chief Risk Officer of Generali Deutschland. In 2015 she became Member of the Executive Committee and in 2016 Board member of Generali Deutschland AG, Generali Lebensversicherung, Generali Versicherung AG and Dialog Lebensversicherungs-AG. Nora Gürtler is a Fellow of the German Actuarial Association (DAV) and a Certified Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA). She remains active in teaching Risk & Actuarial at the German and the European Actuarial Academy as well as at Salzburg University, and is a member of DAV’s Enterprise Risk Committee and the Education Committee. Since October 2017, Nora Gürtler is the Head of Group Audit of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A., joining the ECIIA Insurance Committee at the beginning of 2019

She has served as Chief Audit at AMF and she is currently the Chief Audit Executive at Sampo Group Internal Audit.
Stephen joined the UK Insurance and Asset Manager, Legal & General Group as Group Chief Internal Auditor in 2014. He was previously Emerging Markets Chief Internal Auditor at RSA Insurance Group where he was responsible for the Internal Audit activity in the Group’s businesses across Latin America, Asia, Middle East and Eastern Europe. His 25 years Internal Audit Experience has included Life, General and Healthcare Insurance in both the Company and Lloyd’s of London markets. He was also previously an Audit Consultant at the London Stock Exchange Group. Stephen is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
Mr. Martin Studer has joined Zurich Insurance Company Ltd in 2014 as the Head of Group Audit. From 1992 to 2013 Mr. Martin Studer was employed by Ernst & Young holding roles as EMEA Managing Partner Risk Services, Managing Partner Advisory Services for Germany, Switzerland and Austria, and Head of Global Internal Audit. He has a global track record in successfully driving profitable operational growth, building, transforming and leading business for up to approx. 3’000 professionals, spanning US, Asia, Europe, Middle East, and India. He combines Board and Executive Management, risk management, internal and external audit, internal control, investigation experiences. Mr. Martin Studer is a frequent speaker for Business Performance, Governance, Risk & Control related topics at public conferences and for academic programs. Mr. Martin Studer studied Business Administration and Economy at the University of Basel and graduated with a Master of Arts (Business Administration and Economy) in 1991, and is a ‘Certified Public Accountant’ (Switzerland).
Manfred Schuster has been Head of Group Internal Audit (CAE) of the UNIQA Group since 2008.He studied Economy at the Vienna University of Economics and Business and has held various roles related to finance, controlling, strategy and M&A within the UNIQA Group and its predecessor.
Pascale Vandenbussche is Managing Director of Meilleurs Conseils Financiers. She was Senior Manager with the global consultancy Accenture for the Finance and Performance Management Product Line. Prior to that, she was Financial Director, Europe for the Sicpa Group, a leading global provider of security inks. She started work as an External Auditor at KPMG before moving to a division of the industrial conglomerate Union Minière as an Internal Audit Manager. Pascale teaches Finance in several business schools in Belgium and France. In 2010, she was appointed Secretary of the Board of ECIIA. Since October 2011, she has been Secretary General of ECIIA.”
