15th International Conference of IIA Slovenia – From Compliance to Strategic Value: Internal Audit that Transforms Organizations
IIA Slovenia will hold its 15th International Conference on 21–22 May 2026 in Bled, Slovenia, with hybrid online participation also available.
This year’s conference, titled “From Compliance to Strategic Value: Internal Audit that Transforms Organizations,” will explore how internal audit is evolving far beyond its traditional compliance-focused role. The event will highlight the growing strategic contribution of internal audit in supporting value creation, strengthening governance, enhancing risk oversight, and enabling organisational transformation.
The programme will bring together distinguished Slovenian and international speakers to address a wide range of topics shaping the profession today, including artificial intelligence, digitalisation, data analytics, corporate governance, ethics and integrity, organisational culture, sustainability, and the increasing importance of soft skills in internal auditing.
The conference aims to provide participants with valuable professional insights, practical perspectives, and meaningful reflection on the future role of internal audit in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing environment.
