The ECIIA Conference 2026 marks the 25th anniversary of the European Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditing (ECIIA). It will take place in Brussels on 15 and 16 October 2026, bringing together the European internal audit community for two days of high-level discussion, insight and exchange around and for the profession. This flagship event will explore the theme “Internal Audit at Europe’s Crossroads – Navigating Change Towards Tomorrow.”
In a context of accelerating regulatory, technological and geopolitical transformation, the role of internal audit continues to evolve rapidly. The ECIIA Conference 2026 will provide a unique European platform to reflect on these developments and discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the profession.
This edition will gather internal audit leaders, European regulators, governance experts and professionals from across Europe and wider in Brussels, at the Sheraton Brussels Airport Hotel. Located in the heart of Europe’s decision-making environment and directly accessible from the airport, the venue offers an ideal setting for a high-level European event and a valuable opportunity to engage with leading voices of the profession and connect with peers from across the European internal audit community.
