The European Commission has just issued the evaluation report about GDPR, after 2 years implementation.
The report makes a list of recommendations for the national authorities and the EU authorities. The key findings are:
- the enforcement of the GDPR and the functioning of the cooperation and consistency mechanisms
- the need for a harmonisation of rules and approaches
- the challenges and opportunities for organisations, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises -the application of the GDPR to new technologies
