The president of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen promised legislation that would focus on Artificial Intelligence within the first 100 days of her taking office.
The outcome was the release on 19 February 2020 of a White Paper on Artificial Intelligence, “A European approach to excellence and trust”. FERMA welcomed the European Commission’s approach which is in line with its vision on managing AI-related risks as presented in its own White Paper “Artificial Intelligence applied to Risk Management”.
The objective of this webinar was to discuss how AI applications can contribute to the fight against COVID19 and how it can be implemented into the risk management practices in order to ensure the continuity of businesses and prevent a second wave of COVID-19.
