European Climate Law 1710 2560 ECIIA

The European Commission has released its European Climate Law, setting the 2050 target and the direction of travel for all EU policy, giving predictability for all authorities, businesses and citizens.

The Commission will also be launching a public consultation on the future European Climate Pact. The new Law proposes a legally binding target of net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 and includes measures to keep track of progress and adjust our actions accordingly.
