Advocacy in the Netherlands

The Board of IIA Netherlands recognized that it has been focusing on membership services mainly during the past year.

In line with the Advocacy program of II Global, they developed their own set. It started with a brainstorm session, where they identified 50+ possible targets.

Next they labeled them in the 5 tier level of the IIA Model, where level 1 means that they want to influence this organisation. 

They estimated for all the organisations at level one what they want to accomplish with them and thus narrowed it down to the ones with the highest expected impact.

Next they assigned board responsibilities to each of the targets. It took in total three meetings to come to the plan that you can find here.
